Multi Engine Instrument Rating

Multi Engine Instrument Rating: This is an advanced stage of flight training to prepare students for commercial airline operations after completion of the CPL course. It involves both theory and flight instruction training that covers airline-oriented training in which you learn to fly instrument approaches and handling complex multi-engine aircraft and their systems.

On completion of the Multi-Engine Instrument Rating Course, you qualify for a Technical Type Rating (TTR) and Instrument Rating (IR) on the twin engine aircraft.

Approximate Duration: 6- 8weeks for full-time course. A minimum of 40 hours (20 of which may be on a Simulator and 20 hours in a Multi Engine aircraft) as per KCAA PEL Regulation 78.
